If faith is important to the two of you, then consider how God radically accepts and loves us. What happens when the two of you act towards each other out of that knowledge? What aspects about you as individuals does God accept without judgment?
When doing this module, you both will be examining behaviors or situations that you are refusing to accept. Here are some tips:
1. Encourage your partner. This is difficult. It is hard to let go of hurts as well as unrealistic wishes.
2. Work separately. It is important for each individual to examine their own behaviors.
3. Focus on how to move forward. Take this as an opportunity to see what holding your relationship back.
4. Realize it takes time. This is a mental practice that will require effort and time. There will be days of success and days where more struggling occurs but do not give up!
